My mother would send me there with food. You would ring the bell and a mostly enclosed shelf would swivel around, you would put the food in and if you would crank your head sideways you could convince yourself that you could see the nuns; you had to quick as the shelf effortlessly rotated back into the courtyard. To the left of the alter, the nuns knelt around the clock praying, while always behind a glass wall.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
