I suppose I should not mention that the dark stains on the interior of the Alteneues Synagogue are blood stains that happened from a long ago pogrom where Jews were murdered while seeking shelter from a blood thirsty mob. To Czechoslovakia's credit, they did not try to use antisemitism to legitimise their government the way other central and east European states did between the two world wars.
