I was a young child at the time and loved that church - the smallest one I have ever been in. At that time Dad was attending the Divinity School in Dublin and I think was only home for a weekend every other month, it was during these visits that he would have taken the services in Foynes. Whilst he was training, our family stayed in Askeaton Rectory, we have many happy memories of living there.
