What a great idea it would b...Thank you, Patrick! <br /><br />What a great idea it would be to organise a pilgrimage to Clonfert on St Brendan's day next year. Part of it might be by water up the Shannon from Killaloe (or even Limerick) to Banagher, an idea I've been floating. And wouldn't it be lovely if it were done in company with folk of different traditions.<br /><br />A small niggle, though - I believe St Brendan's Church in Birr is dedicated not to St Brendan the Navigator, but to Brendan of Birr, a different man entirely.Joc Sandershttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06290924194054115128noreply@blogger.com
