September Church Review Out This Weekend
The September edition of the Dublin and Glendalough diocesan magazine is out this weekend. This month’s issue of The Church Review is bursting with information of events that have been happening throughout the dioceses over the summer.
In his regular column, Canon Patrick Comerford tackles the topical issue of the Scottish independence referendum and argues that it raises searching questions about English identity.
There are photos and reports from the launch of the biography of Dr Donald Caird, the opening of St Patrick’s Cathedral’s ‘Lives Remembered’ exhibition among other events. Christ Church Dun Laoghaire’s outreach project, The Dining Room, is profiled and there is a report from Madagascar by Castleknock parishioner, Bernard Neary.
There is news from St Patrick’s Cathedral and Christ Church Cathedral and the parish notes which contain invaluable information about everything that has been going on locally.
