The Church of Ireland Notes on p. 8 in The Irish Times this morning [12 November 2011] begin with these five paragraphs:
There will be a very busy schedule in the Church of Ireland Theological Institute (CITI) this weekend.
There will be 12 participants in the regular monthly study weekend for Part–time master of theology students, who will have sessions on hermeneutics with Dr Katie Heffelfinger; voice production with Joanne O’Donoghue; theological reflection with the Ven Gordon Linney and Richard Clutterbuck, Principal of Edgehill College, Belfast; and Orthodox spirituality with Canon Patrick Comerford.
The final day conference for those undertaking the foundation access course, which is a prerequisite for those considering training for ordination, will be held today.
This will be facilitated by the Revd Dr Tim Hull from St John’s College, Nottingham.
Tomorrow (Sunday) morning Canon Comerford will preach in the CITI chapel where there will be the annual act of remembrance.
