The cherry blossom are beginning to fall from the cherry trees in the grounds, covering the grass with a light pink dusting. The bluebells are still blooming beneath the trees, and in between the showers are there are bright shards of sunshine and blue skies.
After last night’s beautiful sunset, there was a glorious sunrise this morning, with a clear blue sky in Knocklyon, and along the banks of the River Dodder in Rathfarnham the trees in full greenery.
Despite the sporadic April showers throughout the day, and the heavy rain that feel this evening, there is still a promise of May and warm summer sunshine.
